Check out today’s episode of “Creative Insights” on My Craft Channel! Spring Break is coming quick and I am sharing some fun ideas for spring break crafts.
Today I have the perfect little craft for you and your young crafter. My daughter has made one of these for herself and a few extra’s to give away as gifts.
Dry Erase boards are super practical and can be super cute as well. Start with any size frame (this can be a perfect time to up-cycle some frames you are not using anymore) then let your child choose some cute papers and embellishments to include in the project.
For this project we used My Mind’s Eye’s “Collectable” line. The colors and embellishments are perfect for my 10 year old’s room. When she has given these as gifts she has included a few different sheets of paper inside the frame so the receiver can change out the background whenever she likes.
To finish it off we added some velcro to the top of the frame and to the side of the “Expo Marker” and there you go, her new dry erase board is ready to hang.
If your spring break is going to include some “spring cleaning” this might be a perfect project for helping to keep your young crafter “organized” during the last few months of school.
